Batman: Arkham Origins is an action-adventure videogame based on the DC hero Batman and the successor of Batman: Arkham City. Developed by Warner Bros. Montreal and released in October 25, 2013, it follows a similar style of the Arkham’s saga. Nevertheless, it is focused especially on the stealth skills, combats and detective abilities of the main character; Batman. It is played in third-person and it’s the first title of Arkham’s games that includes a multiplayer mode, which makes it to stand out from other similar videogames.
In general it has received positive review and a very good critical reception, being at the top of the most wanted games nowadays. It’s more an incremental installment than a transformative one from the series. Especially, experts have highlighted the presence of a great variety of missions and distractions. However, as usually, it has been a double-edged sword due to other users think that its scale is unnecessary. Besides, it was criticized for having replicating content from other Arkham games but without improving upon them.
